Pullman, WA Add to Favorites Share Job Apply Now * Job Code 80696151 Jobid: 80696151 Job Title: Engineering Intern - Drafting Location: Washington - Pullman Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative, and detail-oriented individual for our Engineering Intern position in Pullman, WA. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work part time during the school year and full time during the summer. If you are an enthusiastic team player who wishes to immediately apply your academic knowledge in assisting our engineers and are currently attending college or university majoring in Electrical Engineering we invite you to apply now! Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Provide technical support to SEL staff & customers. 2. Develop and maintain knowledge in SEL processes and technologies. 3. Perform testing on new and existing technology. 4. Document and communicate test results. 5. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. 6. Understand. Create. Simplify. 7. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Current student pursuing a Engineering degree at an accredited institution in the Pullman, WA area Ability to work part time during the school year and full time during the summer. Experience in programming and script files Practical knowledge of electrical circuits Experience using AutoCAD Ability to use Microsoft Visio Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s) Preferred Qualifications None Physical Requirements None Location Information Pullman, WA- SELs corporate office is located in Eastern Washington where you'll enjoy an unmatched quality of life.
