Do you have an interest in the arts? The College of Arts and Architecture is seeking several talented and highly motivated undergraduate interns to join our Information Technology department (AAIT) for the summer of 2019. Selected candidates will join a deployment team and assist with the setup of specialized computer and printing labs across the college, including the Stuckeman School of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Graphic Design, School of Visual Arts, School of Theatre, and the School of Music. Candidates will also help to resolve day to day technical customer support issues. As an AAIT Intern, you will collaborate with other team members to expand your expertise by working on tech-related projects and gaining hands-on, highly marketable technology experience. Requirements: Candidates must be comfortable working in a team environment, have great interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude. They must be able to develop clear written documentation and communicate effectively, with an emphasis on customer service. Preferred Experience: Windows OS, Mac OS, MS Office 365, and computer hardware. Candidates should exhibit the ability to diagnose and resolve problems. Troubleshooting computer hardware and software skills are a plus. This position will begin after completion of the PSU Spring semester through 8/19/2019. Standard hours for the position will be Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Part-time opportunities exist for internships to extend into the fall semester.
