Applied 09/04/19 Applied 09/04/19 Job Company Rating Reviews Job Summary The Human Resources Intern will work with the HR team and Hiring Managers to assist with recruiting, onboarding, annual training week and other administrative functions. The HR Intern position is temporary and starts May 28 and ends August 2, 2019. Working 35-40 hours a week. POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Functions * Review job applicants in applicant tracking system, conduct phone screens and assist Hiring Managers with interview scheduling. * Assist with recruitment sourcing and participation in job fairs. * Assist with recruitment reports and metrics calculation. * Assist with pre-employment steps tracking with new hires and communicates them on timely completion of requirements. * Prepare new hire files. * Participate in new employee orientation activities. * Assist with preparation of annual staff training event. * Assists with maintaining employment records, filing systems, and other departmental records. * Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience. * Minimum of one year in an accredited college pursuing bachelor's degree in Human Resources * 0-1 years of experience in related field. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Experience and moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office. * Accuracy in work and ability to follow through. * Superior customer service skills to both internal and external customer.
