Company: National Collegiate Athletic Association Industry: Sports Job Type: Contract Country: United States State/Province: Rhode Island City: Smithfield Salary/Earnings: Type: Post Date: 04/08/2019 05:02 PM This temporary position will assist in the publicity and promotion of Bryant University's 22-sport NCAA Division I athletics program. Specific duties include writing and editing press releases, game stories, game programs and media guides; compiling statistics and reporting results to appropriate media outlets; assisting in home event management; assisting in the maintenance of the athletics website; preparing reports for the Northeast Conference and NCAA. This position requires availability, on nights and weekends, and some travel. Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications or English. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in a sports information office, either as a student assistant or intern, and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and stat crew statistical preferred. Certain requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate persons with disabilities.
