This is a temporary position from approximately June 1 - August 31, 2019. Will work in a busy County Attorney's office prosecuting simple misdemeanors to complicated felonies. Discretion and confidentiality is a must. Must have or be willing to learn strong legal research skills, case assessment, and trial skills. Must work well with attorneys, staff, law enforcement, and victim/witness advocate. Duties to include but not limited to: conduct research for briefs and drafting memos, file simple misdemeanors, review cases and make case assessments, appear under supervision on misdemeanor court matters and on simple felonies in district court.
