Position Reports To: Enterprise Architect Position Summary: As the data collection and Analysis intern, you will assist with populating real time secure and compliant access to source system data into Brady's platforms and for its ongoing development and maintenance. You will also assist with maintenance and purposeful evolution of the infrastructure. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Provide Support, Maintenance and Ongoing Improvement to Data Capabilities * Provide timely and efficient support of products and services within Data Collection portfolio * Assist with writing and editing detailed functional and technical specifications; including as-is and to-be process flow documents as part of analyzing problem areas and solutions * Maintain system capabilities, tools and configurations * Assist with development and execution of capability roadmaps which align with business need. * Work with our information security and compliance teams to ensure policies are enforced * Perform analysis and investigation into root cause of problems, propose solutions * Adopt and Work Within Guidelines of Agile - seeks to understand business opportunity or need, builds user stories, meets sprint commitments, satisfies the "definition of done" and works to maximize team velocity. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field. * Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior or Senior Status as of June 2018 * Work Schedule: Start date of June 2018. Expectation of 10-15 hours per week during school. Days and times flexible with student's schedule. Full time in summer. Additional InformationData Collection Intern
