Responsibilities Assist with the day to day test engineering and Quality function. Have the ability to design and build test apparatus as well as perform a wide variety of test measurements, write procedures, work instructions, flow charts, Graphs and execute tests is required. Typical measurement competencies are: Dimensional, using various metrology instruments Force, using Load Cells or Force Gages Electrical, using Meters or Oscilloscope Strain, using Strain Gage technology Time, using Oscilloscope Vibration Response, using Accelerometers Assist in Implementation of ISO 14000 Understanding of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering The ideal candidate must be a hands-on type person with the ability to use various hand and power tools. Understanding of electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems is essential. Technical report writing using Word and Excel. This person should be a self-starter with the initiative to pursue project completion while also being flexible to juggle priorities. In this position, interaction with other departments within the organization as well as customers and suppliers is essential. Qualifications Experience: 0-1 year in technical or mechanical environment. Experience with mechanical components or automotive is preferred. Demonstrated team player with strong initiative to excel.
