For decades, Steinbridge principals have developed, invested in, managed and leased over $12 billion of institutional quality real estate throughout the United States, Europe and Latin America. Presently, Steinbridge is focused on acquiring high-quality assets in US cities on behalf of global investors. In Philadelphia, the company acquires and re-positions single family homes in transitioning areas, where available, and in the immediately adjacent neighborhoods where transition is early or likely. Depending on the condition of the home, the Company may install a new roof, kitchen, bathroom and floors. In addition, the company also paints and refurbishes walls, as well as cleans and updates the exterior of the homes. Steinbridge is looking to hire a motivated acquisition/project management intern. The company acquires and re-positions single family homes in transitioning areas. Responsibilities * Perform in-depth industry, market and competitor research * Perform local, national and international real estate market analysis on a wide range of public and private entities using all accepted and relevant approaches and theory * Using Excel, design financial models for discounted cash flow analysis, market approach and cost approach valuation methods * Independently gather data pertinent to the engagement through direct client interaction, including personal and telephone Interviews with brokers and property managers * Review industry surveys and benchmarks, economic and demographic trends * Assist with preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner * Perform other duties as necessary or assigned REQUIREMENTS: * Currently pursuing Bachelors or Masters degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Management (with a concentration in Finance, Accounting or Real Estate), Business Administration (with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, or Real Estate), Economics (with a concentration in Finance or Real Estate) from an accredited college or university * Expected graduation date between December 2019 and August 2021 * Minimum current cumulative GPA of 3.0 * Strong analytical, comprehension and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills * Attention to detail, ability to manage time and workflow * Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment * Commitment to focusing on quality * Demonstrated leadership skills * Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook * Familiarity with Google Sheets and Bright MLS and/or willingness to learn Company Policy/Procedure Compliance: * Follow all company policies and procedures * Confidentiality of company records and information at all times Compensation: $2,500 stipend for 12 weeks Schedule: Full-time Travel: Yes Job Type: Internship Experience: * acquisition: 1 year (Preferred) * internship: 1 year (Required) * project management: 1 year (Preferred) Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Additional Compensation: * Other forms
