As a Legal Assistant student intern in the Office of Chief Counsel, you will gain experience with the largest government law firm while you attend college. You will provide clerical support to the legal staff preparing and assembling documents, maintaining legal files and documents, receiving incoming correspondence, reviewing outgoing correspondence, making travel arrangements, arranging appointments and conferences, receiving telephone calls and visitors and other challenging work. Education: In the Internship Program you may qualify based solely on education as follows : Completion of all requirements for a bachelor's or equivalent degree. OR B. Experience : You may qualify with one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: receiving visitors and phone calls; receiving, opening, time stamping, reviewing, and distributing incoming legal office mail and faxes; preparing and assembling legal files and documents, correspondences, and other material.
