Join one of the greatest teams in the automotive industry. Master Muffler is looking for a hardworking, self-motivated, full time interns to work at our locations across the Salt Lake Valley. Compensation ranges from $10-$13 per hour. There are many opportunities to learn, develop, grow and even advance in the workplace. We immerse interns into our development program where they receive hands on training and experience from our top technicians and managers. We focus on training individuals in suspension, electrical diagnostics, tires, alignments, engine repair and tune-ups, exhaust welding and bending, and all fluid flushes. Interns will also have the opportunity to work with customers, build & sell estimates and participate in other service writer/management functions. During the internship: we hold weekly internship meetings and follow up on your development to ensure you are hitting your Master Muffler goals. We also hold corporate internship events, which take place throughout the internship. Our team helps guide interns tools purchases to maximize their skill set and ensure sustainable growth. We are looking to train our future full-time team members. Responsibilities Repair and diagnose vehicles of all makes and models, perform emission tests, oil changes and fluid changes. Attention to detail in all your automotive work. It is extremely important that we have a minimum comeback rate, and that all of our customers repairs are completed correctly the first time. Qualifications Enrolled in automotive classes One year of automotive technician work experience or greater. Safety and Emissions license preferred ASE Certifications are preferred 2 or more specialties preferred Tool ownership mandatory Automotive diagnostic capabilities a preferred Any customer service experience is preferred Must hold a current/valid driver?s license, have a clean driving record, and must pass a background check. Attention to detail in all their automotive work. It is extremely important that we have a minimum ?comeback? rate, and that all of our customer?s repairs are completed correctly the first time.
