Safety Intern Michael Brothers Hauling, Inc - Pittsburgh, PA 11 hours agoTemporary$15 - $18 an hour Apply Now Education * Bachelor's Degree Michael Brothers Hauling is looking for a Safety Intern during the Spring/Summer of 2019 to assist with a variety of safety activities with direction from the Vice President. Michael Brothers is a family owned and operated waste removal company with a full-service recycling center. The candidate must be a self-starter, produce timely work, be dependable, and pays attention to detail. Responsibilities include: * Conduct safety walks around the facility * Complete building inspections * Assist in accident/incident investigations * Create machine specific lock out/tag out procedures * Create job specific safety training * Assist in updating the Safety Handbook * Create Active Shooter policy/procedure Qualifications include * Current junior or senior working toward a Bachelors degree in Safety or related field * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Knowledge of DOT standards a plus * Ability to multitask and prioritize work * Ability to organize projects and see them through until completion Job Types: Temporary, Internship Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour Required travel: * 25% (Preferred) Work Location: * One location Employment Length: * 1 - 3 months
