The intern in this role will be responsible for scheduling interviews, executing new hire pre-boarding activities, including participating in and coordinating the new employee orientation (NEO) process. Partnering with pre-boarding vendors to facilitate background screen. Must be able to manage time efficiently, communicate effectively, and execute all correlating processes. Intern responsibilities includes Workday Project Implementation, 1-on-1 mentor sessions, weekly team meetings, department specific training, and meetings with candidates and new hires. The intern will also schedule interviews, file and maintain electronic records of information, and deliver written/oral communication and responses to questions and concerns. The intern must commit to the hours scheduled during the 12-week internship, with flexibility to the interns schedule. Work collaboratively with organization leadership, enhancing knowledge and skills and improving the delivery of quality healthcare. Assist in the completion of projects and administrative duties while developing skills related to the assigned function and/or location. Attend training and development opportunities, learning about various processes and functions within the organization. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrates an ability to meet own responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS Current enrollment or recent graduate of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university. Knowledge of healthcare industry preferred.
