The Financial Reporting Intern will support Accounting department leadership and team members on various ad-hoc projects, reports and financial analyses. Essential Functions: Critical to the success of Frontier\u0027s winning strategy is a focus on accurate, timely financial information delivered by the Financial Reporting team. As an intern on the Financial Reporting team at Frontier, you can expect to assist in the following: * Preparing and analyzing financial statements on a monthly and quarterly basis * Preparing financial results packages for the Board of Directors * Coordinating the annual audit work with the external auditors fieldwork team * Documenting and performing key controls around the companys financial reporting process * Assisting with various regulatory reporting requirements for the DOT and other stakeholders * Conducting ad-hoc projects, reports, and financial analyses as determined by senior management * Currently pursuing an Accounting degree * Available to work part-time (at least 3 days a week) or full-time for a 4 month period Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills * Ability to work well with other team members * Strong organizational skills * Excellent attention to detail * Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines * Ability to work with strict confidentiality Disclaimer: The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature and level of work required of the referenced position; they are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required of individuals in this position.
