This job brought to you by America's Job Exchange Type: Full Time Location : Guymon, Oklahoma Job Description: SUMMARY: Plant operations interns will have the opportunity to be a part of Seaboard Foods' fresh pork processing plant and support operations team in a connected food system. Interns will work on a research and data-based project while being exposed to the production floor of the processing plant. If you are someone with an interest in food science, food safety and quality assurance, meat science, animal science, livestock management, operations management, maintenance and PLCs, or business management, apply today! RESPONSIBILITIES: * Understand several areas throughout the processing plant such as stockyards, harvest operations, cut conversion, fabrication, shipping, safety, maintenance, food safety and more. * Understand and ensure that you are following all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and wearing all personal protective equipment appropriately. * Conduct research and providing data to upper management to validate operation processes and presenting their findings to senior management and discuss their experience. * Work in assigned department based on project needs of the processing plant and managers. * Work with individuals from a diverse backgrounds and spending time with plant management.
