Dominieren Corporation is a parent company that encompasses several other enterprises. These include a software application company and a media and marketing company. At this time, employees and interns of Dominieren Corporation will spend significant time working for some of the enterprises we are in the process of launching, and will have a "start-up" feel as we build everything from marketing strategy to technological platforms from the ground up. The position This is a startup and, as such, the selected individual will get a lot of hands-on experience while playing a part in all aspects of our H.R. strategy. The bulk of the role will involve recruiting and hiring processes, but we have plenty of other tasks and projects planned to keep things interesting and offer a comprehensive learning experience! Requirements YOU Must-haves: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple priorities MUST be proficient in use of Mac OS Some familiarity with (IDEALLY experience working with) recruiting software. Apple applications (Keynote, Pages, Numbers) Microsoft Office skills. (Publisher, OneNote, Word, Sway) Ability to handle sensitive documents and discussions with discretion and understanding. Strong time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail Negotiation skills a plus Creative thinking and a unique perspective Current enrollment in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor's or Masters degree program in Human Resources or related Extra points for: Experience with Zoho Recruit Negotiation skills Experience in a management/supervisory role of some sort Experience with recruiting and hiring, especially screening resumes, conducting phone screens, overall management of the pipeline Ecstatic about spending hours each day: Becoming very familiar with our recruiting software (Zoho Recruit) and managing recruiting process including composing job descriptions for new positions, keeping various job boards up to date with current listings, screening incoming candidates and may, at times, participate in interviews, and handling all communication with candidates. Negotiating pay with candidates within a designated range (this is dependent upon the interns abilities and comfort level) Managing hiring process, including communications with new hires prior to start date, ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly completed and filed, conducting company orientations. Assisting in researching potential options for the company to begin offering some benefits to full time employees and make recommendations based on your knowledge. Maintaining all employee files. Attending and keeping record of any employee reviews, disciplinary actions, and other relevant communications. Assisting in the creation of an employee handbook. Helping plan employee appreciation & team building events Making suggestions as to new, easier or more efficient ways to manage any of our HR processes. We love to hear fresh ideas! Compensation: This internship is a part-time UNPAID position. 20-25 hours/week. Times have some flexibility dependent on chosen student's schedule. We will provide any documentation for the student to receive school credit .
