We're looking for a skilled communicator who is a self-starter and interested in learning more about Corporate Communications and Public Relations. The ideal candidate will bring a positive, can-do attitude; communicate clearly and skillfully; and enjoy a variety of assignments and opportunities to interact with different areas of the business. Required Skills Assisting internal customers as needs arise. This will provide opportunity to exercise your writing, research, technical and creative skills as well as challenge your ability to multi-task. Creating strategic communication plans for internal initiatives. Monitoring media and reporting trends affecting our businesses and our industry; updating media lists; handling basic media relations. Maintaining and posting to our corporate internet site, intranet and social media channels. Collaborating and collecting stories and data that identifies Titans corporate social responsibility. Required Experience Strong writing and proofreading skills Demonstrated grasp of basic concepts of graphic design, layout and photography Passionate about practicing effective, strategic enterprise communications and public relations Understands and wants to learn more about the use of social media for a corporate entity Commitment to adhering to the values and ethical standards defined by Titan America and by the Public Relations Society of America Full Time, 40 hours per week Minimum of 12 weeks during the summer months. Attend a 4-year college or university Be a rising junior, senior, or masters degree student Be enrolled in a degreed program that supports the company's business requirements Must be in good academic standing and possess demonstrated leadership ability through studies, employment, or extracurricular activities.
