OmniFan was founded in Brooklyn, by two die-hard Knicks fans. OmniFans mission is to build and grow loyal sports fan communities by rewarding sports fans for their loyalty and keeping fans engaged year-round with exciting activities, contests and events. We are currently located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and looking for a highly creative and motivated part-time Graphic Designer/Artist intern to help us create premium OmniFan branded content. This position offers hands-on experience producing creative and compelling designs for digital, social and print initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of sports, specifically basketball, strong graphic design skills, be detail-oriented and have the ability to organize and execute tasks in a timely manner. Responsibilities will include: * Editing images including resizing and formatting images. * Creating and drawing original, high-quality and visually attractive graphics/artwork for projects including digital/print, video, decks and product photography projects. * Creating artistic/witty graphics, memes and event flyers to be distributed on OmniFans social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. * Watch post game interviews on YouTube to pull dynamic quotes to create relevant infographics. * Creating graphic content that adheres to OmniFans brand aesthetic and standards. * Managing projects through multiple rounds of approvals and edits. * Organizing OmniFans content library to make content easily accessible by the entire team. * Providing support to our team at live events and photo shoots. * Participating in creative brain storming sessions with OmniFans co-founders on new ideas, types of content and marketing direction. * Completing other projects as assigned. Requirements include: * Must provide a portfolio or examples of previous design projects. * Must have a personal laptop and access to Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. * Strong interest in professional basketball. * Must be able to commit to at least 15-20 hours per week. * MUST BE A STUDENT * If in H.S.; must be a senior and have a strong interest in pursuing a bachelors degree in graphic design or a related field. * If in college; must be working towards a bachelors degree in graphic design or a related field. * Proficient in the Adobe suite of programs including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. * Must be extremely detail oriented and able to meet firm deadlines. * Must have in depth knowledge of various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat. * Must be able to come into our office in Greenpoint, Brooklyn at least once per week. (Preferably Fridays) * Previous internship or related experience is preferred.
