What job title, keywords Where city, state, country Home View All Jobs ( 2,466,762 ) Job Information Dart Marketing & Mobility Intern in Des Moines , Iowa Position Summary: The Marketing and Mobility intern will support initiatives in the Business and Community Partnerships and Marketing & Communications Departments. The position will report to the Mobility Coordinator but will also perform work under the direction of the Senior Marketing Specialist and Communications Coordinator. Essential Functions supporting DARTs Mobility Coordinator: Assist with the promotion of ridership, such as how-to-ride training and relationship development, within the human services field. Provide group travel training for older adults, youth, refugees, people with limited incomes, disabilities, and/or limited English proficiency options to access public transportation for life improvement activities. Will be required to attend meetings and conduct training sessions outside of normal DART business hours. Coordinate training for the general public to become familiar and utilize existing DART fixed route services. Act as community liaison to transportation resources within the community and build supportive community networks. Help coordinate and attend community outreach events on behalf of DART. Essential Functions supporting DARTs Marketing and Communications team: Develop marketing plans to promote special event service provided by DART for 80/35, Yankee Doodle Pops and the Iowa State Fair. Assist with developing and implementing an advertising schedule for local community publications. Monitor news coverage and create monthly news reports using DARTs media monitoring software Ensure all DART internal and external messaging remains consistent and adheres to DARTs brand guideline Write and deploy content for print and digital materials, including social media, email newsletter, web and brochures. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED Working towards (or completion of) an Associates or Bachelors Degree in marketing, communications/journalism or business from an accredited university or college.
