We Offer: * Competitive Pay * Flexible work schedules, including 9/80 hours with every other Friday off * Veteran-friendly work environment * Tuition Reimbursement * Complete benefit package amp; 401k (w/ company match) * Training amp; Development opportunities Standard Work hours: M-Th 5:30a-3:15p; EO Fri 5:30a-2:15p; EO Fri OFF Duties amp; Responsibilities * Designs/Releases equipment and tooling to support the production of aviation and ground vehicle fuel systems, and the manufacturing of composite structures and flexible fuel cells. * Evaluates manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; and/or soliciting observations from operators. * Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors. * Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes. * Provides manufacturing with engineering information by answering questions and requests. The Location Robertson is based in Southwest Tempe, Arizona. Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled Requirements Education and Experience Manufacturing Engineer Intern: Completed sophomore/junior year of college in pursuit of a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Engineering, preferably in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Professional Qualifications Required: * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues, groups of managers, and/or end users * Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, applies lessons learned to preclude recurrences, and gathers and analyzes information skillfully; proactively looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. * Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint; and Access), specifically Excel. * Mathematical understanding consistent with the educational requirements * Ability to read, write and communicate clearly and effectively in English * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form * Strong customer service and company culture/reputation orientation Preferred: * Three (3) months experience with SolidWorks or equivalent * Three (3) months work experience in a mechanical assembly environment * Three (3) months experience with Mastercam or equivalent
