? 2019 Fall SWE Technology Innovation Graduate InternJob Function Information TechnologyPosition Type InternshipsCity AtlantaRequisition ID 2019-6713 Overview FALL INNOVATION INTERN DATES: August 26, 2019 December 13, 2019 Graduate interns in the Technology Innovation program build Innovative technology solutions while coaching and mentoring other participants in the program. Were looking for graduate students studying Computer Science, or Analytics who are interested in both learning and leading. In this internship, youll leverage technology likeBlockChain, IoT, Machine Learning and more to improve the lives of Customers, Operators and Team Members. Projects previous interns have contributed to include Google Glass, mobile app development (Chick-fil-A One), Computer Vision and automation. ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP Chick-fil-As Technology Innovation Internship launched in 2017 as a way to partner with students on experimental projects. This internship operates on asemester basis in Chick-fil-A's Technology Innovation Center, located Midtown Atlanta. The Technology Innovation internship is a separate program from Chick-fil-As traditional, summer internship program at the Support Center (corporate headquarters). This is a paid opportunity Part-time (minimum 20 hours per week) and full-time (40 hours a week) opportunities available Must have housing and transportation (housing not provided) Internships include the opportunity to return for additional semesters This internship operates on asemester basis in Chick-fil-A's Technology Innovation Center, located in the Biltmore Hotel.We offer full and part-time internships. Participants must be actively pursuing an undergraduate degree to be eligible for the program. Applicants interested in Chick-fil-A's traditional Summer IT Internship should apply to the 2019 Summer IT Internship position. Responsibilities Assignments may include but are not limited to the following: Investigate new technologies and services Design, develop and deploy software solutions including mobile and web apps Build prototypes and experiment with technological solutions for use in Chick-fil-A Restaurants Provide a technical perspective of software solutions to Analysts and other IT Support Center staff Provide demonstrations and presentations of solutions to key stakeholders Explore machine learning, computer vision, sensor fusion, text analytics, artificial intelligenceand more Minimum Qualifications Current MA or PhD student studying Computer Science, Advanced Analytics or a related field Concentrations in Artificial Intelligence, Analytics and/or Machine Learning Proficiency in Python andTensorFlow, MXNet, PyTorch or Caffe Experience mentoring or operating as a technical lead Required Level of Education Bachelor's Degree Major/Concentration Current MA or PhD student studying Computer Science, Advanced Analytics or a related field Minimum GPA (4.0 Scale) 3.0
