Were looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support our product development. Responsibilities include: Work with members of engineering in the design and support of products. Participates in engineering through brainstorming sessions, review of concepts, and interaction with cross-functional teams Creating and updating mechanical drawings Assist with the development and documentation of work instructions and testing processes Design and/or fabrication of tests equipment/fixture Assembly of product Testing of product Participate in engineering through brainstorming sessions, review of concepts, and interaction with cross-functional teams Perform other additional duties as assigned or required Position Requirements: o Actively pursuing a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering o Completed at least four semesters of college courses. o GPA of 3.0 or more o Understanding of engineering concepts such as system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance o Able to understand mechanical drawings o Familiar with 2 and 3-D CAD software such as Pro Engineer, SolidWorks, Autodesk, or equivalent. o Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a collaborative and inclusive environment Proficient in AUTOCAD is a plus Proficient in SolidWorks is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint is a plus.
