The Palau Association accomplish its mission through hosting evangelistic outreaches and festivals in cities around the world; mobilizing and equipping thousands of evangelists worldwide; accelerating the Church to serve their cities through prayer, service, and evangelism; and through a far-reaching media ministry that encourages believers, trains Christian leaders, and shares a message of hope with people around the world. The Luis Palau Association is looking for a talented intern who will serve as a driving force in raising funds through research, grant-writing, and communication strategies to advance our mission. About the internship As the Foundation Relations intern, you will actively advance our fundraising goal of raising $12 million annually to support our global ministry work. Under the direct supervision of the Foundation Relations Manager, you will lead foundation prospect research, assist in writing grant proposals and reports for foundations, and help advance marketing and communications strategies. This position affords the intern a wide breadth of experienceslearning best practices in fundraising, one-on-one training in prospect research and grant writing, and the opportunity to own projects and gain valuable hands-on experience. Job Responsibilities * Foundation Prospect ResearchIdentify and research existing and prospective foundations using leading research tools and practices, and provide recommendations on how to approach prospect. * Grant writing--Write and edit grant proposals and reports, collaborating with teams across the organization to development impactful pieces. Opportunity to lead an application end-to-end. * Database ManagementUpdate foundation contacts in Raisers Edge database to support communication, cultivation, and solicitation of prospects. * Communications and MarketingCollaborate with team to develop segmented communication pieces and strategies for foundations including direct mail, emails, and social media.
