Among the key duties of this position are the following: Performs architectural and/or planning on campus, transportation, and infrastructure, feasibility studies, grant applications, landscape architecture, space management, design and construction technology, and capital projects. Visits construction and renovation sites for assessment and documentation of conditions. Other duties as assigned by University Architect. Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week 40 Daily Work Shift FLSA Nonexempt Position Salary $20.00/hr Payroll Designation PeopleSoft Terms of Appointment Temporary Staff Appointment - Hourly Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Enrollment in a design and/or architecture college program (3rd or 4th year). An interest in a career involving higher education facilities. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requires a valid drivers license and personal vehicle. Equipment Utilized Physical Demands and Work Environment Site visits will be made to the New Brunswick, Newark, and Camden locations of Rutgers. Special Conditions Clean driving record.
