This position will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer, with input from the Senior VP of Customer. This individual will be responsible for tackling the highest priority strategic questions for our organization, supporting the core team in strategic initiatives and operational insights. A successful intern will demonstrate initiative, creativity, analytical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities. Primary Responsibilities : Assist in the preparation of financial reports, guide Peeks short and long-term growth strategies Define, develop and execute highly visible projects such as entering new markets, playing an active role in bringing new products to market, and analyzing and optimizing the performance of current product offering Perform data entry, verification, and analysis Perform product price and cost analysis Manage and coordinate the key financial measurements (revenue, gross profit, expense, and profit and cash), and advise on cost reduction opportunities Interpret trends, economic influences, and other factors affecting company performances Work with Chief Operations Officer to lead analytics/ tracking of internal processes to streamline business operations Help develop and refine metrics and KPIs to help achieve strategic business objectives Work with operations team to establish and optimize business processes to help the company scale. Analyze financial performance and develop forecast models of existing Product, Marketing and Business Development campaigns in order to improve performance and identify new high-value opportunities. Perform budget and cost analysis and report on variances Monitor variances, track receivables, and follow up on discrepancies Communicate or liaise with management, finance personnel and other departments as required to complete task assigned Support Executive Team as required Maintain confidentiality Requirements : Bachelors degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or any finance related degree Currently enrolled in leading MBA program Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze data and create compelling reports and presentations Strong interpersonal skills, verbal communication skills, and presentation skills Outstanding writing skills, with ability to compose persuasive materials Superb execution and follow-through with strong organizational skills. Detail oriented, self-motivated and efficient at multitasking Proactive and able to work autonomously when necessary; however, also able to work collaboratively in a team is critical Power user of Microsoft Office and experience with Data Base Queries.
