We are seeking a highly-motivated Engineering Intern to join our Irvine, CA team to support water resources and civil engineering projects throughout southern California. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to gain applied experience in engineering and scientific methods and techniques related to water resources management and currently pursuing a degree in an engineering program. **What Youll Get To Do:** Your primary responsibility will be to support engineers on projects relating to water resources including, flood and debris control, levee rehabilitation, environmental restoration, and dam safety alternatives. You will provide hands-on CADD and GIS support to senior engineers for design projects, research and field investigations, engineering calculations, and preliminary write-up of project reports. **More About This Role:** The qualified candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, committed to project schedules and deadlines; ability to work independently and within a team environment; be self-motivated. In addition, you will have good communication, writing, and data management skills, including fluency with Microsoft Office suite of programs. **Youll Bring These Qualifications:** At least two full years of college education and actively enrolled in an engineering, environmental science or related field of study. This individual needs little or no professional experience, however, must have basic knowledge in computer applications.
