Undergraduate Internship/Co-op Program Cartographer, Editor, Graphic or Interactive Designer Central Intelligence Agency - Washington, DC4.3 22 hours agoFull-time$21 - $22 an hour Apply Now Skills * Certified Internal Auditor AT A GLANCE Full time Washington, DC metro area Starting salary: $43,300 - $45,775 ($20.75 - $21.93 per hour) US citizenship required (dual national US citizens are eligible) DescriptionQualificationsHow to Apply Undergraduate students serving as Cartographer, Editor, Graphic Designer, or Interactive Designer Interns for the CIA work side-by-side with Agency officers to support intelligence analysis for the President of the United States, US policymakers, and other officials. Cartographer Interns are responsible for researching, designing, and producing thematic and reference maps in support of CIA finished intelligence. Editor Interns perform a variety of tasks related to producing and publishing products, including editing, creating, and processing text and graphic products for mobile, web, and hardcopy dissemination. Graphic Designers and Interactive Designers are responsible for conceptualizing, designing and producing visual solutions for a wide variety of formats and dissemination outputs. In addition to your job-specific responsibilities, undergraduate interns become familiar with the Agency and Intelligence Community by participating in a range of meetings and projects. Interns generally are required to work at least one 90-day summer internship. Co-op students work on an alternating semester or quarterly basis and are expected to spend a minimum of three semesters or four quarters (this can include a summer tour) on the job prior to graduation. The program allows you and the Agency to assess opportunities for permanent employment following your completion of undergraduate school.
