Intern - Environmental Specialist Veolia - Marlboro, MA3.6 8 hours agoFull-timeEstimated: $36,000 - $46,000 a year Apply Now Education * High School Diploma or GED Skills * Driver's License Summer Intern - Environmental Specialist Marlboro, MA We are looking for a summer Intern who with a background in the sciences who enjoys working on a variety of projects, in the field. R esponsible for providing testing, packaging, labeling, and environmental compliance services to our clients for the proper transportation and disposal of waste materials . Responsibilities include manifesting, packaging, spill response, labeling, loading/unloading, coordinating transportation, and sampling/profiling material while adhering to state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations. In a typical day, you will be driving to our client locations, meeting with our customers and physically loading the materials onto the truck using a variety of methods. You would have access to machines such as fork lifts, cranes, etc and the position also requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a very "hands on" position which requires strong communication/customer service skills. A valid drivers license is required for this role.
