Position Summary We are looking for a qualified intern to join our Marketing Communications team for the summer to help support our media team with new and ongoing campaigns. Potential opportunity to continue part time during the school year. Our Marketing Communications intern can expect to gain experience in various aspects of media planning and buying by supporting both national and local advertising initiatives. The right candidate can expect exposure to TV, radio, OTT, print, digital, SEM and social media plans. The intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of advertising. Core Responsibilities * Assist with schedule maintenance in media buying software * Help with data entry of all schedules into Strata * Pull spend and impression reports for Media Mix Modeling and/or budget documents * Help update traffic document for all broadcast media * Proof budgets and documents for accuracy * Assist with pulling research documents * Updating and filing of schedules, magazines and integration documents * Attend rep meetings and upfront presentations take notes and send meeting recaps * Assist with media invoicing * Confirm correct FSI markets for each drop * Help with miscellaneous requests for department * Count and mark edit credits for all consumer magazines * Coordinate vendor set up in OnBase * Set up all rep meetings in Center of Excellence and pre-register visitors in system Position Requirements EDUCATION Required: * Undergraduate majoring in Communication, Marketing or Advertising TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * High attention to detail * Strong organizational skills * Microsoft office suite Equal Opportunity Employer.
