Temporary QC Engineer Intern Smith & Loveless, Inc - Lenexa, KS3.2 2 hours agoFull-time$15 an hour Apply Now Education * Bachelor's Degree Skills * Manufacturing Experience We have an immediate need for a Full-Time, Temporary QC Engineer to help with a project for approximately 6-12 weeks. The Temporary QC Intern Engineer is responsible for the various phases of inspection and reporting for a large industrial treatment plant order. It will inspections on paint, verifying parts are correct, reviewing drawings against the final product, creating packing lists, and ensuring crates are labeled and prepared for shipment. Specific Duties Include: * Assist with paint inspection and completion of tickets and presentation reports as needed * Assist with final mill thickness readings on painted rework as well as verifications on rework for all parts. * Must be able to utilize business systems and locate production drawing files to resolve any issues that come up with part identification or application. * Coordinating packing, marking, tagging, labeling of all parts per the project "TL" document. * Verify quantities are correct. * Verify part numbers are correct. * Print ship-loose stickers as needed. * Print and laminate crate labels. * Identify if further tagging is required and coordinate with coworkers to get tags created. * Put Packing Lists Together * Determines what goes in each crate and verifies that it gets packed. * Determines packing list number utilizing Sequential List. * Takes pictures of crates and ship loose items. * Sends a copy along with the final packing list as appropriate. * Ensures all crates are labeled and a copy of the packing list is laminated and applied to the crate. Requirements: * 4-year Manufacturing/Technical Engineering degree required or equivalent experience.
