Human Resources Intern Encore ADHC - Lexington, KY 1 day agoPart-timeEstimated: $21,000 - $29,000 a year Apply Now Education * Bachelor's Degree * High School Diploma or GED Skills * Computer Skills * Organizational Skills * Driver's License * Payroll Encore ADHC is seeking to hire a part-time, with possibilities to transition to full-time, Human Resources intern. Encore ADHC is and Adult Day Health Center and Home-Health agency based out of Lexington, KY. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Hiring, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees, predominantly in the Home Health department. This includes sourcing applicant leads, going over the job description to determine eligibility, processing the application, completing the necessary background checks, and assigning any preemptive screens such as a Drug and/or Tuberculosis screen. -Managing the Indeed and other hiring platforms -Being the main point of contact to all applicants -Assisting new employees access their ADP and payroll information -Submitting payroll information to the HR department -Monitoring and completing initial payroll responsibilities such as managing the Pay Clock system. -Communicating with the Program Director and Operations Manager regarding employee weekly hours -Being the first point of contact for any payroll discrepancies or issues to gather initial information -Completing ongoing weekly Payroll documentation -Updating employee information This ideal candidate is someone that exhibits strong communication and organizational skills. Candidates must also be able to efficiently prioritize weekly goals and manage time to complete all weekly tasks. Basic computer skills are necessary along with an eagerness to learn payroll programs and onboarding platforms. Experience in Human Resource is preferred but not required. Candidates must be solution-oriented able to learn and develop best hiring practices.
