Communications and Development Intern (Summer) The Andrew Goodman Foundation - Upper Saddle River, NJ 10 hours agoInternshipEstimated: $22,000 - $30,000 a year Apply Now Skills * Google Docs * Microsoft Office Benefits * Food Provided The Andrew Goodman Foundation(AGF) is seeking a part-time Communications and Development Intern with an eye for detail and strong writing skills. The intern will work with the Communications and Development team to help raise awareness and funds for the organization. The key responsibilities of the Communications and Development Intern will include: Communications * Curating and drafting engaging content for AGFs Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts * Covering Vote Everywhere events at local school partners in New Jersey * Assisting with drafting press releases and pitch notes Development * Maintaining the integrity of AGFs donor database * Assisting with donor mailings and events * Conducting donor research Qualifications: * Excellent verbal and written communications skills * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail * Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn) * Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and CRMs * Interest in civic engagement, social justice, and nonprofit work About this position: The Andrew Goodman Foundation is located in Upper Saddle River, NJ. This is an unpaid position. A small travel and food stipend will be provided. The internship may be eligible for college credit. An ideal candidate must be able to devote 10 to 20 hours per week. Job Type: Internship Salary: $25.00 /day
