Human Resources Intern Human Resources Intern Nampa, Idaho, United States � Human Resources Description Hansen-Rice, Inc. is looking to fill an intern position within it's Human Resources Department. It is not required for you to be actively enrolled in courses, but have the desire to learn more about the HR field. Hansen-Rice Inc. is located in Nampa, ID in the Boise Metropolitan Area. This position will be full-time for an expected duration of 6 months. Further employment can be reviewed at the end of the internship. Requirements JOB DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS: Assist the HR Department as requested with duties as assigned. Responsible for obtaining, ensuring accuracy, and processing all personnel records, i.e. hire, termination, promotion, compensation, etc. Post, analyze, and maintain job ads. Filter job applicants as needed. Conduct phone screenings as needed. Assist with the hiring process. Audit I9 binders for separated employees. Verify employment documents. Assist with employee training. Assist in the implementation of a new HRIS system. Produce and supply relevant reports as necessary. Periodic informational mailings. Maintain benefit files. Help coordinate Wellness events and activities. Assist with unemployment claims within specified time frame. Respond to salary surveys. Conduct research as assigned. Create general correspondence, office memos, tables, charts, etc. Participate and cooperate with every department while enthusiastically advocating teamwork and frequent communication. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Strong skills in the following areas: attention to detail, highly organized, handle multiple tasks, grammar, and spelling. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in Spanish preferred. Computer skills Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook. Confidentiality required. High level of interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge and understanding of employment laws and compliance issues. Sensitivity to and genuine interest in people. Must possess ability to be objective and have sound judgment. Ability to work well with others in a professional manner. Work independently with general supervision. Willingness to travel. JOB MAY REQUIRE: � Ability to navigate office facility. � Ascending/descending stairs. � Vision abilities include close and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. � Operate office equipment. � Hearing at levels of normal speech. � Repetitive motion (to include, but not limited to): standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, working at a computer and typing for extended periods of time.
