FTE: 0.001000 *1.0 FTE is Full-Time, any position less than 1.0 FTE is Part-Time, and .001 FTE is Optional Part-Time* *Positions with an "FTE" (full time equivalency) of .875 - 1.0 are eligible for full-time medical, dental and vision benefits. Positions with an "FTE" of .5 - .874 are eligible for part-time pro-rated medical, dental and vision benefits* Shift: 1 working 4+ hours per week Mon-Fri between 7:30am - 5:30pm Responsibilities: Following established policies and procedures, Pharmacy Intern 2 performs technical, distributive, and administrative duties. This individual receives, sorts, compounds, processes and prepares medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist. They will prepare sterile products and assist in the training of Pharmacy Intern 1. Other duties as assigned. Summary: Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital pharmacy internship program preferred. Completion of first year of a doctor of pharmacy program at a degree granting institution. An equivalent first year completion in an accelerated doctor of pharmacy program at a degree granting institution will be accepted Other Information: Must complete a competency checklist within three months of completing orientation and training sessions. Ability to communicate effectively with other health care professionals and patients. Ability to prioritize responsibilities in order to optimize patient care and minimize adverse outcomes.
