Assists with Talent Acquisition posting on job boards and social media. Participates in projects and/or ad hoc teams on an as-needed basis in support of a business need. Develops knowledge of and familiarity with multiple HR disciplines- Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Corporate Learning, etc. Disseminates relevant information while exercising discretion in sharing confidential information within and outside of the HR Division. Observes the business operation and becomes familiar with the business and its environment. Engages in effective and efficient work processes to contribute to the achievement of Company business objectives. Assists with projects and completes routine work assignments as directed by management. Provides excellent customer service when interacting with internal and external business customers. Participates in a variety of activities with other interns and employees throughout the summer, including social and volunteering events. Maintains regular and predictable attendance. This position requires sitting over 66% of the time. This position requires Visual Acuity at 20 inches (or less) over 66% of the time. Hour Requirements: Summer: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday 8A-5P. Fall/Spring semester: Part-time, 12-15 hours per week. Must be able to meet the hour requirements by being available between the hours of 8A-5P, Monday-Friday. Minimum Qualifications: Must be a YBC student to qualify for this role Knowledge of and ability to use various software applications on a personal computer including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Skills in oral and written communication, human relations, creativity. Ability to analyze material and exercise judgement, be flexible. Avenue Scholar or Millard Public Schools student in good standing. Preferred Qualifications: Candidate with an interest in Human Resources.
