Student Intern-Otobiomechanics Lab (Puria) - 40 hours Mass. Eye and Ear (MEE) - Boston, MA 1 day agoFull-timeEstimated: $29,000 - $39,000 a year Apply Now Skills * Office Experience Provides a variety duties to support the departmental needs. Depending in the intern assignment, tasks can vary from office/clerical to laboratory and research assistance. Specifically, the student will work towards further development of the finite-element models of the gerbil apex cross-section cochlea. He will use COMSOL multi-physics tools to develop finite-element models of the cochlea. Qualifications Must be currently enrolled at a college and/or university to receive internship credit. Prior experience in an office and/or research/laboratory setting preferred. Significant background in mechanical engineering is required as student will learn about biomechanics while developing cochlear models.
