Summary The Marketing and Communications Intern is responsible for assisting with the direction and coordination of the daily operations of the marketing and public relations teams at a hospital (or market). Responsibilities The Interns job responsibilities include: * Assist the marketing team with marketing plan creation and implementation, collateral development, event management and reporting. * Assist the PR team with social media duties, web research, reporting, media clipping, taking photographs and video, writing, and being present for on-site media shoots. * Knowledge of social media tools and engagement is important. * Create and maintain databases. * Create and edit Excel spreadsheets and Word documents as needed. * Conduct tours. * Research, organize and distribute marketing materials and giveaways.
