Dewberry is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern to work in our Raleigh, NC office in our Healthcare Group. RESPONSIBILITIES This individual will work in a multi-discipline, team environment with primary responsibility to assist in the design, construction, and commissioning construction projects for commercial and institutional projects as well as building systems (HVAC and BAS) and life safety plans for office buildings, residential, health care, educational, federal, commercial and institutional projects. The intern may also assist with the design and construction of systems, commissioning, analysis and reporting, and other tasks related to the position. REQUIRED SKILLS & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE * Pursuing a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering required * Previous internship experience preferred * Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and 3D, Revit MEP, Trane Trace, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel is a plus * Must possess excellent communication and collaboration skills *Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background screening which may include, but is not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, driving record check, criminal background check, and an investigative consumer report.
