TheAdvance Engineering Groupat SULZER PUMPS (US) Inc. is looking for an engineering student intern. The position is full time (40 hrs/wk) during the summer of 2019 and part time (20 hrs/wk) during the school year. Requirements: Completion of at least sophomore year in engineering, preferably mechanical . Excellent computer skills required; will use:Excel, SigmaPlot, Visual Basic, Access, AutoCAD 2D/3D and other task specific software tools. You will become part of an engineering team responsible for the hydraulic and mechanical design of large industrial pumps as well as pump systems packaging designs. Duties will include: generation of pump performance curves, data base management, some programming, work documentation and engineering drafting. Interest in rotating machinery and manufacturing is beneficial. You are organized and dependable. Position becomes available 3 June 2018 and runs 1 to 2 years depending on candidate.
