Job Description This position supports the Leadership Institute focusing on the creation and publishing of media productions. The position will have a strong emphasis in the area of video post-production, editing, and motion graphics. NOTE: This is not a clinical internship -- there is no contact with patient care areas, patients, or laboratory work. Recent graduates and those seeking degrees in communications, media arts, film, and/or marketing are encouraged to apply. Essential Job Duties Work directly under the video production manager in supporting various media projects for the Leadership Institute. Work effectively inside Adobe Premiere to edit videos and manipulate graphics and audio. Design and create various motion graphics consistent with the brand of the Leadership Institute. Able to collaborate and work as a production assistant in a studio setting. Attends team meetings / conferences and actively participate / take on opportunities to share knowledge and skills that are pertinent to the meeting. Works with other members of the department / facility to accomplish assigned tasks. Miscellaneous: Provides staff operational / clerical support to the department / facility as needed. Posting Specifics Salary Rate: $15.00 Benefits Eligible: No Shift Details: M-F days - up to 40 hours per week (minimum 32 hours per week) Department: Intermountain Healthcare Leadership Institute Minimum Requirements Student with at least 1-2 years in an undergraduate art/media-related program at an accredited institution; or a recent graduate from an art/media-related degree from an accredited institution. Education is verified. Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office (365), and Word-processing applications. Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Physical Requirements Speaking, hearing / listening, seeing, manual dexterity, and lifting video gear (approximately 50 lbs). Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Software (e.g.: Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) Technical graphic artistry skills preferred.
