Part-time, Internship The Regulatory Affairs Intern is responsible for assisting in preparing US and International regulatory submissions. Intern will also be responsible for helping with development and maintenance of submissions, documentation, labeling, and procedures. INTERN WILL LEARN AND BE EXPOSED TO: * Real world knowledge of working in regulatory affairs SCHEDULE: * 20 hours per week around interns schedule during the academic year; up to 40 hours per week during the summer Essential Job Functions: * Provide project support on functional initiatives * Collaborate with departments to produce high quality deliverables * Work closely with manager and mentor to understand systems, processes, and key information * Interface with other departments and interns to gain knowledge of the business, products, positions and more * Research matters pertaining to various aspects of the function * Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned * Complete a final presentation at the close of the internship that outlines the involved project(s) and knowledge gained * Provide feedback on the internship experience at the close of the internship SKILLS * Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. * Have excellent attention to detail, be well-organized and show initiative. * Demonstrate leadership qualities. * Proficient computer skills with Office, Excel, Powerpoint * Ability to work in team environment. * Ability to work with guidance from management to perform job function * Ability to read and understand regulations, technical standards, guidance documents, test reports, clinical and medical terminology, technical product information, and complex documents. * Technical written and verbal communication skills * Excellent interpersonal skills * Fluency in a foreign language is a plus EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university * 1+ years toward degree * Eligible to work in the United States without company assistance. * Majoring in an area of in engineering or life sciences or equivalent.
