Job Profile JOB SUMMARY: Assist with the implementation of the Information Security Strategic Plan. Responsibilities that will be learned include the monitoring and maintenance of security mechanisms and components, evaluating security tools (hardware/software), documentation, and reporting results with recommendations. Assist with detailed information technology audit reviews to assess Harris County Hospital District's compliance with federal and state regulations. These audits would include application audits, network reviews, and regulatory and other compliance reviews. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Final year or semester of a four (4) year degree in an IT related field. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: A. Communication Skills: Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking) Writing /Composing (Correspondence) B. Other Skills: Analytical, Medical Terms, PC, Word Proc C.
