Engineering Intern - Traffic Study City of Carmel, IN - Carmel, IN $14 an hour Temporary, Internship This internship will focus on traffic and accident data collection and analysis. The intern will gather field data as well as perform web based research of accident data. The intern will process and summarize the data. The data will be used by the intern to develop a report on traffic efficiencies and relative safety comparisons of roundabouts recently constructed by the City of Carmel. These reports will be used internally and some of the information may be used externally to be shared with other communities. The position involves work to be done in the field under live traffic and will also involve office work. The work will involve the use of spreadsheets, MSWord, ArcGIS, and other web based resources. Support will be provided; however, the position requires most of this work to be done independently.
