2019 Technology Internship-Electrical Engineering (Local Concord Only) at T-Mobile Concord, CA 94520 About the Job Job Description: Are you interested in working with large problems? Do you like the challenge of solving complex issues with out of the box solutions? Then in-building wireless space may be right for you. We work to deliver wireless coverage and capacity inside venues such as stadiums, arenas, airports, and office buildings to name a few. In this space the problems and solutions are unique, so we need unique thinking individuals to be part of our team. Responsibilities: The Alternative Coverage Solutions (ACS) intern, will be responsible for leading special projects to deliver key technical and business insights to the leadership team for T-Mobile"s in-building wireless program. This role is expected to interface with national, regional, and market engineering teams, third-party neutral host providers preparing and presenting presentations up to the Director level. * Develop end to end DAS and Small Cell Solutions * Evaluate potential venues and identify requirements for system design, including RF data collection. * Assist Sr. ACS Engineers with RF modeling & analyze indoor propagation and capacity. * Apply link budget analysis, macro design, design standards, traffic analysis to help develop tools. * Evaluate new features, equipment, materials, and processes. * Review and approve final RF design construction documents. * Review and approve PIM Test, Coax Sweep Test, and Fiber Sweep Tests. * Assist Sr. ACS Engineers with troubleshooting of DAS and Small Cell systems * Evaluate collected data from post-deployment acceptance testing to ensure requirements are met and the system integrates with the macro network. * Troubleshoot alarms or performance issues at existing systems. * Audit existing system as-builts and perform annual system audits and testing. * Assist with the development and approval of Justification packages. Minimum Qualifications: At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. High School Diploma or GED. Pre-employment background screen.
