Through a variety of networking, learning, and mentoring opportunities, our CAP program fast tracks participants for an exceptional career and can serve as a gateway to permanent employment at PD.CAP has three cohorts each year beginning in January (Winter), May (Summer) and September (Fall) and participants are paid competitively in their respective industries.Check out what some of our past participants have done during their time at PD.Why We Need You The Customer Marketing Intern at PagerDuty will provide support for Summit19-our annual three-day conference where digital operations leaders, influences, and developers from all over the world meet and share their learnings from the field. They will work with PagerDuty champions who are continuously discovering new and interesting ways to gain value from our product and solutions. Internally, this role will work with the Customer Marketing, Content Marketing, Product Marketing, Growth, Design, Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Community teams to tell impactful stories with and about our customers. Foundations of the role include excellent communication, interpersonal skills, project management, administrative and organizational skills. This role also requires creativity, problem-solving skills, proactive thinking and an extraordinary ability to keep track of and manage many moving parts. The Summer term runs from May 3 to August 30. We are flexible with start dates - please indicate the earliest date you can begin on your application. How You Contribute to Our Vision * You will assist in planning Summit Customer and Partner Awards * You will assist with content development and presentation creation * You will write web copy relating to speaker info, session info, and conference agenda * You will write email copy to secure speakers, confirm logistics, and schedule meetings/working sessions * You will track speaker outreach, confirmation, and logistical details * You will work directly with marketing teams on customer reference activities, including case studies, video testimonials, presentations, integrated campaigns, events, etc. * You will collaborate with internal PagerDuty teams across all departments and professionals at all levels. * You will work to create and manage a reference pipeline. * You will gather and develop customer stories for various media channels and formats. * You will help implement structural and organizational process improvements to the customer marketing program. * You have solid judgment to ensure we are building a strong pipeline of customer advocacy. * You will leverage Salesforce and other customer reference and marketing systems to track program progress and key milestones.
