DYC is a NYS OASAS-licensed treatment provider for adolescents and young adults with substance use issues. We provide comprehensive, long-term treatment, and provide individual, group, family, and vocational services. DYC is also actively involved in assisting their clients with legal matters. DYC is currently looking to fill a Legal Intern role. This is a temporary, part-time position with potential for future hire. The ideal candidate will: * Be familiar with the criminal justice system (basic knowledge is sufficient); * Have excellent communication skills and be able to build a rapport with clients, agencies, attorneys, etc.; * Have a desire to learn and be able to learn quickly; * Have strong writing and computer skills; * Have a passion for working with and helping people; * Be flexible in time; * Have experience with Microsoft Office.
