This job brought to you by America's Job Exchange Type: Full Time Location : Durham, North Carolina Job Description: Job Summary As a engineering summer intern, you will support development tasks that specifically relate to a pump test bench set-up and experimentations at Research Triangle Park, Durham NC. The assignments in this position are short term programs and this position does not support immigration sponsorship. Responsibilities * Assist to build a pump test bench with data acquisition system * Provide support for the pump evaluation and development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) * Develop required PC and software skills related to development tasks * Establish good working relationships with peers and coworkers * Support other engineering tasks as needed Requirements * Hands-on experience of experimental facility set-up * Previously experienced or familiar with data acquisition system and software (LabView experience preferred) * Ability to work 40 hours per week for duration of the 10-12weeks summer internship period * Responsible attitude and drive to contribute to project teams * Good organizational and communication skills, both written and oral Education & Experience Request * Currently enrolled in and completed at least 2nd year in a Bachelor s degree or Master s program in engineering discipline, preferred Mechnical Engineering.
