Summer Intern: HR Programs formalized to include Video EquiTeam LLC - Indianapolis, IN 17 hours agoInternship$14 - $18 an hour Apply Now Skills * Computer Skills * Construction Experience * Organizational Skills Intern Position Title / Scope: Training, Processes, Procedures, Testing: On Boarding Paper to Electronic Processes, Candidate Testing Dashboard, Metrics and Workflow When: Summer 2019 Where: EquiTeam, LLC (Real Estate: Design, Develop, Build) 215 N. College Avenue Indianapolis, IN 46202 Who: Summer Intern College Student Strong Computer aptitude Strong Organizational Skills Process Oriented Reliable Preferably Indianapolis area Position reports to: Director of Estimating and Finance What: Assist and Manage the process of setting consistent processes and procedures for each position in our firm. Procedures will be written by Full Time employees. Manage that process. On boarding of new employees will include: 1) Written Procedures (available on a Virtual Drive) 2) Flow chart associated with most procedures of workflow 3) Videos of specific training processes & procedures (not all) Work with Software / App firms to achieve implementation and integration of 1, 2 and 3. Video will likely require the most research for a platform that will fit our needs. Cost is a concern. Simple Training Videos. Each Position will have a Set of Documents, files, videos on our Virtual Server. Each new employee will be given access to the position they assume. Construction Categories within Training General: (all employees) Project Manager Project Manager Assistant Superintendent Estimator: Lead Estimator: Bid Coordinator Administrative Assistant Office Manager Accounting Business Development Each position (file) will then have: 1) Written procedures 2) Flow Charts (often tied to each procedure) 3) Videos (Training) Testing: We will also be implementing PRE- hire testing of: 1) EXCEL 2) WORD Likely contracted with a National Testing Firm: research required We will then develop and administer in house testing for: 3) Construction Knowledge (pre hire) 4) Position Education (testing of the material in the files listed in Training above. The net result will be: 1) Good hires 2) Employee properly and adequately trained to do their work 3) CERTIFIED, TRAINED team members Job Type: Internship Salary: $14.00 to $18.00 /hour Experience: * Computer Skills: 5 years (Preferred) * Organizational Skills: 5 years (Preferred) Location: * Indianapolis, IN (Preferred) Work Location: * One location
