We are seeking a Psychology Intern to provide clinical services in the medical and inpatient settings under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Based on their academic credentials and clinical experience, Psychology Interns provide consultation and supervision to other behavioral health clinicians and university students. In this position you will: Coordinate and facilitate psychological assessments. Provide relevant recommendations to support identified goals for patients. Provide feedback to guardians and when clinically indicated to patients regarding assessment and recommendations. Provide accurate and timely documentation. Participate and confer with treatment team weekly regarding patients progress, plans, needs, goals and discharge disposition. Implement care/services that recognize age/diversity specific needs/issues of customers served. Qualifications: Required qualifications for this position include: Currently enrolled in a doctorate (Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D.) in Clinical, Counseling, Organizational, or School Psychology 2 years equivalent of clinical/counseling experience LPA (licensed psychological associate) or LPC (licensed professional counselor) Preferred qualifications for this position include: Masters Degree in in Clinical, Counseling, Organizational, or School Psychology About Providence Alaska Medical Center Providence Health & Services Alaska is among nations best employers for healthy lifestyles!
