Come join our team during this exciting time of growth and opportunities! Summer Internship Interns will be responsible for providing their own transportation and housing for the summer. Interns are ineligible for employee benefits. Interns must have authorization to work in the US. Project Summary ultracurious Apply your biggest ideas in courageous ways This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to join an innovative, development stage biotech company focused on developing life-transforming therapies for patients with rare and ultra-rare disorders. This unique experience will allow the student to gain exposure to Medical Communications and Medical Information with a focus on Medical Communications. Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist in creating and updating field medical materials along with the review/approval of these materials Assist with congress planning and execution Assist in the review of pieces as part of medical/promotion review committee Create and maintain documents, materials, and databases Review Dossier(s) Additional Opportunities include, but are not limited to: Create and update Medical Information materials including: standard response letters (SRLs) and frequently asked questions (FAQ) documents Research medical information questions and prepare responses Assist with call center training Technical Requirements & Skills: Pursuing an advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, etc.) with at least 1 year completed Enrolled as a full-time student with plans to return to school in fall term Available to work 40 hours/week during normal business hours Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong organizational skills Flexible; adapts work style to meet organization needs Meticulous attention to detail Strong ability to follow through with tasks Good verbal communication skills; ability to write clearly and effectively Ability to exercise sound judgment, reasoning, and problem solving Capable of completing assigned responsibilities and keeping manager informed of work status Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
