What job title, keywords Where city, state, country Home View All Jobs ( 2,451,990 ) Job Information Nutanix Social Media Intern in Durham , North Carolina Job Summary The Nutanix Social Media Intern will be responsible for assisting in the development of content and creative, the tracking of campaigns and the reporting of social media initiatives. Were looking for a creative, outside-the-box thinker who can thrive in our fast-paced, Hungry, Humble, and Honest digital marketing team. The role is for 40 hours, full-time, over the summer -- for the right candidate. Responsibilities: Assist in ideating, planning, producing and scheduling social media assets for @NutanixHeart -- ranging in formatting from GIFS, MP4s and static graphics. Write social media copy designed to incite engagement and drive leads. Manage projects tied to our diversity and philanthropy program, .HEART. Identify opportunities to help optimize social media efforts and further drive awareness of .Heart. Assist in maintaining a public-facing social media calendar. Assist in maintaining a database of community influencers -- and find ways to foster natural conversations with them. Assist content and creative teams on special projects, which could include writing, ideation and other content-related tasks. Work with a number of team members and internal stakeholders to drive quick turnarounds. Pull data for, proofread, polish, and revise social media reports. Support social media team in ongoing 24/7 social listening efforts for the @NutanixHeart handle. Work from an app to actively flag and categorize customer, press and technical support concerns as they arise. Nurture these concerns by escalating them through internal workstreams until resolution is reached. Qualifications and Experience: Must be currently pursuing a degree in English, marketing, communications, or a similar field. Undergrad or MBA. Past experience managing social media channels for a brand or organization is a plus. Video or graphic editing experience a plus (but not necessary). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to produce quality copy quickly, and adhere to content deadlines. Attention to detail, flexibility, strong follow through, and the ability to embrace the unexpected. The role is typically the standard 9-5 shift at our Durham location, with some flexibility to support live .Heart activities which can happen at more variable hours and occasionally off-site.
